Debjit is the Senior Manager of Policy and Strategic Planning for Spirits Canada. With over 14 years of professional experience across industries, sectors and markets including, gaming, retail and consumer products, agribusiness and conventional and new energy industries among others in a global setting, Debjit brings his expertise in data, analytics and hypothesis driven approach to solving complex problems as well as strategic planning and execution of organizational priorities.
His close to 8 years of management consulting experience with EY Parthenon across progressive roles has given him exposure and ability to tackle ambiguous problems by asking the right questions, structuring and defining the problem statement, breaking it down into simple constructs, structuring solutions around each construct and then building it back up to address the key question. This tried and tested approach has helped him find solutions to the most gripping and complex subject areas. His detail- oriented approach ensures that he is well-informed while developing solutions.
Across his professional career, Debjit has had the opportunity to work on engagements around developing context on industry structure and competitive setting and evaluating strategic options for revenue growth maximization, profit optimization, regulatory and policy environment assessment, technological and commercial due diligence in addition to M&A and investment advisory.
Debjit holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Biotechnology degree from India. He has a growth mindset and he believes in continuous learning as a way to fuel professional development.
Outside of work, Debjit enjoys playing soccer casually with friends, traveling cross- country and cross-border to learn about new places and cultures. Debjit is also an avid foodie and he loves to explore a variety of culinary experiences.
